Spark Change Social Impact Entertainment Summit

The Promise Institute joined forces with Creative Visions and UCLA’s Skoll Center for Social Impact Entertainment to produce the Third Annual Spark Change Summit — an event showcasing the unparalleled power of storytelling and its ability to affect positive change.

Featuring award-winning producers, writers, directors and creatives, this day-long event focuses on entertainment and stories that raise awareness, change behavior, influence policy and catalyze movements. 

This year’s Summit featured a panel with our own Executive Director Kate Mackintosh and UCLA Law Critical Race Studies Program Executive Director Jasleen Kholi, plus a dynamic and growing lineup of media speakers, including: Creators from VICE, Co-Executive Producer of The Handmaid’s Tale, documentary producers and directors of Navalny, Climate Reckoning, Birthing Justice, and more!
