[Un]Safe/Space: Conversation with Poet-in-Residence Karen McCarthy Woolf

During her residency at The Promise Institute, poet and Fulbright scholar Karen McCarthy Woolf has been working on “[Un]Safe/Space”, a multi-disciplinary project comprising poetry, image, film and music that asks what and how are safe environments configured, breached and secured across diverse cultures and communities.

In this event, Karen McCarthy Woolf read from a new work in progress, exploring the dynamics of movement and enclosure, followed by a conversation and Q&A with Promise Executive Director Kate Mackintosh.
