February 19, 2020, was the 78th anniversary of the signing of Executive Order 9066 which imprisoned people of Japanese ancestry during World War II.
In this event, we explored the impact and legacy of the WWII incarceration, the meaning of the Korematsu decision today, and the relationship to a new generation of incarceration centered on the southern U.S. border.
